Am I the only one who is bothered when people call Barak Obama the Antichrist? I even heard of someone in the church, who will remain nameless, that was saying Obama will be in office for a while, then be shot in an assassination attempt. Then he will rise again and become the Antichrist …. Really? Is this what evangelical Christianity has come to?
Or should I say conservative evangelical republican Christians over thirty or their mindless children.

For me, it’s not even about not being a republican, partisan, or conservative. It’s about not being dumb. Ugh, the whole two party political system nauseates me. This is why I am an independent.

I heard an eighth grade kid pray tonight for Obama and this nation and it was inspiring. He asked God to give him wisdom and protect him. He then went on to say even if he is evil and corrupted to use Obama like God used pharaoh and Moses. That’s powerful. That is what we should be doing.

God rules the hearts of kings and He is still sovereign. I think whatever happens next will be exciting to see.
