I am happy to now be able to share a unique project I was a part of this summer as an intern for Bear McCreary.
His brother has a band called Young Beautiful in a Hurry which was shooting their very first music video. This plays over the credits of the film Chillerama which Bear scored a part of. Bear also directed the music video.
The night before I get a call requesting my presence as a zombie. I then wonder if I’m qualified having no previous zombie experience. I then learn it’s essentially just getting covered in chocolate syrup and pretending to eat people. So, being the intern I must put on my zombie best.

I wake up to go rent a wheelchair at 8am and sheepishly admit we’re using it in a music video as a camera dolly. I don’t know what that medical supply guy thought, but it probably wasn’t great. I arrive at this stylish apartment-turned-studio and begin the zombie process which essentially is a makeup job + a shower in Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup.
I’m not ever allowed to say my life is boring.
So, without further ado, here is the long awaited finished product. I got to eat the drummer.
He was delicious.
